MackSmaTec GmbH (formerly ruhlamat) is the most economically powerful company within the Mack Group and has been part of the group since 1991. MackSmaTec is considered one of the leading providers of customized and standardized machine solutions and has a total of around 280 employees.
The headquarters of MackSmaTec GmbH is located in the green heart of Germany, in Thuringia. The consolidated annual turnover of MackSmaTec GmbH is around 50 million euros, and the number of employees has been growing for years.
SMR Sondermaschinen GmbH
With a workforce of 20 and annual sales of nearly four million euros, SMR Sondermaschinen GmbH - with headquarters in Wutha-Farnroda, Thuringia - is the smallest company in the Mack Group. As a manufacturer in the field of special-purpose machine construction, SMR Sondermaschinen GmbH takes care of automation technology: from construction and installation all the way to production, everything from a single source. Among SMR's most important customers are manufacturers of medical technology and automotive industry suppliers.
